The manager still refused and said they sent an email to let me know not to come. I assured her we would only stay for 15 min and would be happy to just buy a bottle and close out the bill and be gone before 6:00. I explained that we called ahead and our Uber was a 25 min drive ($35). Apparently, they “sent their bartenders home” (before they were closed and with patrons still dining). Arrived 5:29 (9 min past) and was greeted at the host stand by the manager that they’re closed (open until 6:00 pm). They said they could stretch the tasting reservation 20 min but could maybe grab a glass beyond that. Called ahead to let them know our Uber was running late.
Came to grab a quick glass to toast our engagement.
